Annex I to directive 67/548/EEC contains classifications and labellings for certain substances established by the authorities. Annex I has been translated into CLP classification and labelling. It can be found in Annex VI to the CLP regulation. The list is called “Harmonized classification and labelling for certain hazardous substances” It is mandatory to use these classifications as a minimum. Manufacturers and suppliers should evaluate the substance in order to decide, whether the harmonized classification is sufficient or whether further hazards should be added.
